Addy Roller First Purdy Eagle Ever to Have Jersey Retired

The number 23 will never again be worn a North Carolina Tar Heel, a Chicago Bull or a Purdy Lady Eagle. Following a stellar career that included multiple Missouri state three-point shooting records and 2,392 career points, Addy Roller's jersey was retired by the Purdy school district Friday night.

Via Purdy School District Media Relations:

Roller holds the Missouri State records for Career 3 Point Field Goals Made (319), Season 3 Point Field Goals Made (120) and Consecutive Games with a Made 3 Point Field Goal (39), as well as the State record for 3's Made Per Game (2.75). She was awarded the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Class 2 Player of the Year for 2012 and the KSPR-33 High School Athlete of the Year for 2012. She was a three-year Class 2 All-State Player and achieved a career total of 2,392 points.

Roller is currently starting at point guard as a true freshman for Wayne State in Nebraska.
