NEVADA, MO.--- Brightergy installed more than 50 solar panels on the Carnegie Building in mid December. The building owner says it will generate a 3rd of the energy used for the building and cut their energy costs by 30%. He says he hopes the Carnegie Building will serve as a test for others businesses to also use green technology.

"Its got a lot of historical value and so its been a good opportunity for people to become more aware about solar and how it can work," says Greg Hoffman, Carniegie Building Owner.

Cash's Quality Electric and Missouri Northern Pecan Growers also had solar panels installed.
