ANDERSON -- The Freeman Screen Tame and McDonald County Chamber of Commerce hoted their annual health fair in Anderson Saturday. For only $10, attendees could receive a number of important tests, such as blood pressure and bone density. There were also 18 vendors available from local insurance agencies, nursing homes and health providers.

"Right now is the beginning of the year and high deductible, there are people who don't even have insurance," says health fair chairman Susan Woods. "So, for $10 you can get your blood work done, check out your glucose, your cholesterol, just a whole bunch of things. Then they just mail it to your house."

The McDonald county health fair takes place every year during the third Saturday in February.
