OK Bill Proposes Restrictions for Politicians Promoting Gun Control

OKLAHOMA.--- A bill that would make it illegal for politicians to promote gun control heads to the Oklahoma Senate. House Bill 2020 would restrict anyone in political office to use propaganda, distribute pamphlets or pay anyone to advocate for gun control measures.

The Oklahoma House passed the legislation last night with an 83 to 7 vote. Bill authors say the bill is intended to ban the use of tax payer money to pay for gun control promotion. HB 2020 is now on its way to the Senate for consideration.
