Boys and Girls Club Christmas Party

No matter the sports, the Southern Athletic Department is well supported by the city of Joplin. Tonight, some of the athletes who benefit from that support had a chance to give back to the community. The Southern Fellowship of Christian Athletes in conjunction with the Joplin Family Y, hosted a Christmas party for members of the Joplin Boys and Girls Club. Each athlete presented a child with a Christmas present. Santa Claus was also on hand, and those present had a chance to sit on Santas lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. It`s a special evening for everyone involved.
