Brackets - The Coach's Picks

Well if you have not done so already, now is a pretty good time to start filling out your NCAA brackets for your office pool. With 64 teams in the field, it is anyone`s guess who will advance to the Final Four in Atlanta. So, in an effort to help you out, here are some opinions from local college hoop experts. Pitt State head coach Gene Iba has filled out two brackets, but this is the one he is sticking with. Coach Iba not exactly going out on a limb with his picks of top seeded Duke, Maryland and Kansas, but in the west Gene likes the number two seed Oklahoma. Southern women`s head coach Maryann Mitts also following the seeds set forth by the selection committee. It`s hard to argue with her selections of Duke, Kansas and Maryland and in the wild west, Coach Mitts will stay with the trend of top seeds as she selects Cincinnati to fill out her Final Four. My picks are a blend of the two coaches and one dark horse. I`ll take Duke, and Maryland, but my lone Big 12 pick is Oklahoma. Sorry Kansas fans, but my sleeper comes from the midwest, it`s the Ducks from Oregon who could surprise a lot of teams. The big dance starts tomorrow afternoon.
