Junior guard Eddie Jackson scored a game-high 32 points, including six 3-pointers to lead 23rd-ranked Pittsburg State University to a 72-58 road win against Northwest Missouri State University Saturday (Jan. 15) at Bearcat Arena.
The Gorillas (13-2, 4-2 MIAA) won for the first time in nine trys against the Bearcats (12-5, 2-4 MIAA) at Maryville. It marked the first time since the 1995-96 season -- head coach Gene Ibas first year with the Gorillas -- that Pitt State posted a road win against NWMSU.
