IT DIDNT LOOK LIKE SCOTT ELBERT ON THE MOUND APRIL 16TH. AFTER TWO IMPRESSIVE STARTS TO BEGIN THE 2007 SEASON AT DOUBLE A JACKSONVILLE. ELBERT GAVE UP THREE RUNS IN THREE INNINGS IN HIS 3RD START, BUT THERE WAS GOOD REASON FOR THE STRUGGLE.ELBERT IS SUFFERING FROM SHOOULDER TENDINITIS AND WAS SENT DOWN TO SINGLE A INLAND EMPIRE FOR REHAB. LAST SEASON ELBERT WAS 7TH IN ALL OF THE MINORS IN STRIKEOUTS AND ALLOWED JUST THREE RUNS IN HIS FIRST TWO STARTS THIS SEASON.
