ARKANSAS--- Two men who escaped from an Arkansas prison may be headed to Lawrence County.

Prison officials say John Laxton, Jr. and Danny Rankins escaped on Wednesday from the Blytheville Correctional Center in northeast Arkansas.

The men were on two separate job sites through a work release program.
