Pitt State Men & Women Escape at Home, Missouri Southern Men & Women Disappoint

In Joplin, the Southern men and women both had disappointing performances, losing to Nebraska-Kearney teams that have struggled thus far in MIAA play.
For Pitt, JaVon McGee scored 22 points on the afternoon, while surpassing 1,000 points for his career. In the women's game, Lizzy Jeronimus scored the game winning bucket and collected 13 points and 13 rebounds, while Morgan Westhoff came off the bench to lead all scorers with 14.
For the Lions, Jordan Talbert stood out in a loss with 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Nicole Hartzog was the only one in double digits for the women, finishing with 11 points.
