JOPLIN, MO.--- Workers at Higdeon's Florist in Joplin say early flower orders usually get the best flowers. People that come in on Valentine's Day run the risk of not getting what they want. They also sometimes can't get their flowers delivered on such short notice.

"The night before, we do the routes. So, if it's not in by a certain time and we do all the routing, we only go out of town once. We go all over, not just Joplin," says Marcia Baker, Higdeon's Florist.

Higdeon is expected to make more than 500 deliveries over the next several days.
