JOPLIN, MO.--- Imagine shrinking Joplin down to toddler size and getting around the city on your Big Wheel. That was what dozens of children did today at the annual Big Wheel Days at First United Methodist Preschool in Joplin.

There were dozens of different shops they could visit in the town. The kids had to obey traffic signs, they could get a car wash and even visit the local TV station to do a weather forecast. Just like in a regular town, they were given tickets for not obeying the rules of the road.

"Yeah I got two. I went the wrong way," states Ruby Davidson, Likes to Speed. "They can be cited for speeding, fender benders. We also have one if they're a safe and happy driver. If they're driving good then they get a citation," said Rick Hirshey, Joplin Police Department.

Big Wheel Days has been going on for more than 20 years.
