Updated: January 7, 2009
Three and a half weeks without a basketball game is a long time, but after tomorrow`s game against Rockhurst, the Southern men will not play another regular season game for 25 days. Naturally, the Lions would like to enter that stretch on a winning streak, but that will not be an easy task. The Hawks will bring a 7-1 mark to Leggett and Platt and are fresh off a nine point road win against Western on Thursday night. As for Southern, they sit at 6-1, are ranked 25th on the latest Division 2 poll. This afternoon after practice, the Lions talked about the importance of tomorrow`s game. That game will tip off at 2:00pm tomorrow, followed by the Lady Lions and MacMurray at 4:00pm.
