At the beginning of every season, the Pitt State football team is forced to replace a host of quality players due to graduation, but at the end of every season, the Gorillas are perennially near the top of the MIAA standings. Re-stocking the shelves is something the Gorillas have done well during Chuck Broyles 13 years at the helm, and during spring practice this week in Pittsburg, the Gorilla coaching staff will be looking to fill the cupboard again. But unlike the regular season, spring football allows the players to get back to basics. The Gorillas will wrap up spring practice with a scrimmage at the Pitt on April 13th.
