Nov. 6: Southern drops football shootout to Washburn In a game that saw a school record 101 points scored by both teams, Missouri Southern dropped a 58-43 decision to Washburn on Saturday. Nathan Emert set the MIAA single season completions record, DeMarcus Mathes set the school single season receptions record and tight end Cody Hilburn set the school record for single-game pass receptions by a tight end.
