PSU to Host Southern on Wednesday

The Pittsburg State University basketball team will try for two straight wins Wednesday (Jan. 5) in the Del Rio Bordertown Battle against MIAA rival Missouri Southern State University. The Gorillas (10-1, 1-1 MIAA) are coming off a 66-58 victory over Truman State on Sunday (Jan. 2), while the Lions (5-8, 1-1) fell 88-85 on Monday night (Jan. 3) to Missouri Western State College at St. Joseph. Pitt State climbed to #18 in the most recent NABC Division II Poll released Tuesday (Jan. 4).
