Truman defeats Lions 73-62 Saturday Missouri Southern got within three points with eight minutes to play, but Truman held on to defeat the Lions 73-62 in Kirksville Saturday (Jan. 29). MSSU (9-12, 5-5 MIAA) returns home to face Missouri-Rolla on Wednesday (Feb. 2). Southern was led by senior foward Orestus Cavness with 19 points.
