Lady Blues roll over PSU

PITTSBURG -- Jennifer Harris scored a game-high 32 points to spark top-ranked and unbeaten Washburn University to a 95-65 win over Pittsburg State University Wednesday (Feb. 8). The Lady Blues (23-0, 12-0 MIAA), who won their 42nd straight game dating back to the 2005 season, led 44-32 at halftime before eventually pulling away from the Gorillas (10-12, 3-8 MIAA) down the stretch in the final 20 minutes of play. Brooke Ubelaker added 16 points for WU, while April Roadhouse chipped in with 11 points and a career-best 10 assists. The Lady Blues shot 55.7 percent from the field in the game (34 of 61). The Gorillas, who shot 44.9 percent from the field (22 of 49) got a team-high 15 points from Tracy Patry. Kelsey Theobald and Nikki Pierce also scored in double figures with 13 and 11.
