WACO, Texas (AP) - Curtis Jerrells scored a career-high 28 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Baylor to a 90-64 win over Missouri on Tuesday night.
Kevin Rogers added 13 points for the Bears, while Tommy Swanson scored 10.
The win was the second straight at home for Baylor (2-7, 2-7 Big 12) while the loss was the sixth straight for the Tigers (10-11, 3-7).
Baylor took command with four minutes left in the first half, closing out with a 17-4 run to go in front 43-21. Five 3-pointers fueled the run. Jerrells, who scored 11 first-half points, and Aaron Bruce each had a pair. Bruce`s four-point play with eight seconds remaining capped the scoring.
Baylor continued to dominate in the second half and led the Tigers by as much as 32 points at 82-50 on Mamadou Diene`s putback with just over five minutes left.
Thomas Gardner led Missouri with 25 points, while Jimmy McKinney contributed 13.
The Bears shot 68 percent in the second half, going 19-of-28 from field, and held the Tigers to 7-of-17 performance for 41 percent.
