Joplin Salvation Army Thanksgiving Meal

JOPLIN, MO.--- Volunteers served more about 500 people from noon til 2 this afternoon. Cooks roasted 7 turkeys for the feast. Community members donated the birds, Franklin Tech donated dozens of pumpkin pies for dessert. It took over 50 volunteers to prepare and serve the meal. The volunteers say helping serve has become a tradition for their families.
