Neosho Water Project

watch video
NEOSHO -- Crews have been working over the last year replacing water lines and installing a new water main on Kodiak road. The goal is to reduce water loss in the city, and to cut down on sediment in the water system. City officials believe they are going to have most of the work done by the end of this month, with residents seeing a difference in water volume by spring time. The project is being funded by a $9.4 million low interest loan from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. This week, water service to some Neosho residents will be temporarily disrupted. Crews will be working on Monday and Tuesday 8AM-5PM. On Monday, residents living on Ripley street between South street and South place would lose water for part of the day. On Tuesday, houses on Grand avenue, Finney street and South College street may temporarily lose water service.
