Joplin High Speed Chase

JOPLIN, MO--- A late night high speed chase ends with one suspect behind bars and police on the lookout for two more suspects.

According to Joplin Police reports an officer spotted a red Mustang a little after midnight with license plates registered to a different vehicle. When the officer tried to pull the car over the suspects took off leading police on a chase from 17th and Grand and ending in Spurgeon in Newton County after the vehicle spun out.

Two white males fled into the woods. Police arrested 20-year-old Cassandra Jeffries. She is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia

Police are still searching for the two white males.
