Zumbathon Fundraiser for Aven

watch video
CARTHAGE, MO.--- Lines of people hit the floor for a Zumbathon to raise money and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis. Carthage High School teacher Autumn Palmer's 8 month old daughter, Aven, was born with the disease.

Money raised from the registration fees and raffle will help the family pay medical bills, and be donated to research. Aven's mother says she's humbled by the communities support.

"Yes, it is it's definitely important that we kind of raise some funds to assist our family, but also to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation," says Autumn Palmer, Aven's Mother.

More than 30,000 children and adults in the U.S. are affected by the disease.
