Shawn Simmons Sentenced for Domino's Pizza Robbery
JOPLIN, MO.--- Shawn Simmons will serve 5 years probation for 2nd Degree Burglary. He was originally charged with 1st Degree Burglary but the charge was lessened when he entered a guilty plea in October. Simmons was arrested on July 29th after he and 2 other men, Keith Walton and Caleb Baker, allegedly robbed a Domino's Pizza delivery man. Police say the men then fled to a home on 18th and Wall with pizzas and a small amount of cash. A SWAT team responded to clear the men out of the house. The other 2 men are bound over for trial in circuit court.
