Brad's Beat: Jo-Joe's Coffee Shop
JOPLIN, MO.--- Jo-Joe's is a new coffee shop now open at the 9th and 10th grade campus at Joplin High School. Jo-Joe's is staffed by students in the "Link Crew" organization.
The groups is run by upper class students with incoming freshmen. Students get the chance to learn valuable business lessons while making coffee.
"Instead of sitting in a business class taking notes, they're operating a business," states Tobin Schultz, Link Crew Teacher. The coffee shop is open before school and during lunch.
The money collected helps the Link Crew pay for school activities throughout the year.
