End of an Era Bash
JOPLIN -- Cycle Connection Harley-Davidson will soon change owners, and names. Saturday marked the last day Scott and Nancy Hutson owned the business after 22 years. The new owners plan to change the name to "Hideout Harley-Davidson." Hutson says Saturday was about honoring the customers who helped the store stay in business for so many years.
"It's been very emotional," Hutson says. "Lots of people coming out to wish us well and sharing their stories of motorcycling and love for the dealership."
"We know that we have a strong operation that's been going on and we want to continue what Scott and Nancy are doing," says Stratton Murphy of Hideout Harley Davidson. "We hear tremendous things about what they do in the community."
Cycle Connection has been in business in Joplin for more than 40 years.
