Shelby's Adventures Basketball Game

watch video
CARTHAGE -- The Shelby Shores Charity Basketball game was held Saturday at the Carthage Middle School gym. Proceeds from admission to the game, raffle and silent auction will go to help Shelby's family see a doctor in Canada. The always impressive KSN/KODE All Stars, with the help of a few Kappa Alpha fraternity members, battled Carthage faculty members in a back and forth contest. Shelby's mother says she is humbled that so many people came to support her daughter.

"There's people here that I've never even met, that are just pulling out hundred dollar bills, saying we want to take care of your daughter," says Shelby's mom, Claire Shores. "It's wonderful, it's heart warming, and it touches you."

The KSN/KODE All Stars were able to pull it out, winning by one point in the final seconds.
