JOPLIN -- The lines were long at just about every booth inside the Leggett and Platt Athletic Center Saturday morning at the Mercy Sportscare Clinic. Kids had a one-stop-shop to sign up for Little League, cheerleading and more than 40 other activities offered by organizations in southwest Missouri. Organizers say their goal is to make sure everyone in the community knows what activities are available.
"Parents can really have a one-stop-shop opportunity to figure out where we're going to be at, what we need to spend, all of those types of things," says Mercy Sportscare director Ryan Melton.
If you missed Saturday's signup, you can find out more about the programs by calling Mercy Sportscare at (417) 208-3802.
