Webb City Bright Futures New Community Facility

WEBB CITY, MO.--- Webb City Bright Futures puts the finishing touches on their new community facility. The organization now operates out of a newly remodeled house that was purchased by the school district several years ago. This new space can now easily store donated school supplies and food for their Backpack Program.

Bright Futures administrators say they can also use it for meetings and planning sessions since it has a lot more space than their previous location at the high school. Bright Futures says this new facility will allow them to become more recognizable in the community.

"We now have a face to the organization, people can now picture where we are and what we are doing. We have a sign, we have a parking lot, we have a facility, so now it's really great that the community knows this is where Bright Futures is at," said Jesse Degonia, Bright Futures, Director.

The Webb City School District had originally planned to demolish the house and the lot for additional parking space for the junior high. After more consideration, administrators decided it would be the perfect space to house Bright Futures.
