State Medical Board Reviews A Case

The state medical licensing board wants to suspend the license of a four state doctor. The board says Dr. Michael Landreneau shouldn`t be practicing medicine during his trial. Attorneys say his main focus should be on his upcoming trial. Landreneau is on trial for statutory sodomy. Stemming from an accusation by a 15-year old patient who says Landreneau fondled her during an exam. The doctor also faces allegations of sexual assault by two other women. Those women have also filed restraining orders saying Landreneau threatened to kill them. Landreneau`s next court date will be May 28. His attorneys are now waiting to see if their request for a change of venue will be granted.
