A lawsuit is being filed against an Oronogo police officer who allegedly performed a full strip search of a Webb city man. 28-year old Shane Nickerson from Webb City says he was strip searched by Officer Jason Hill. Nickerson says the incident happened on October 8th on the side of the road in Oronogo. He says the officer stopped him for speeding and for not wearing a seat belt. According to Nickerson, the officer said he was searching for contraband. A lawsuit is being filed contending that a strip search must be conducted in a private room.
