Accident Kills Four People on I-44

The investigation continues into a deadly crash that left four people dead this weekend. Investigators from the Joplin Police Department and the Missouri Highway Patrol has been busy recreating the scene of the accident. It happened just after five o`clock saturday morning. Four people, including one woman who was eight months pregnant were killed in the accident... while eight others were injured. Authorities say seven tractor-trailers and six cars were involved. authorities believe a fog bank may be to blame for the incident but they will continue to investigate. "Everyone we`ve talked to described a thick fog that no one could see, it was a thick cloud," said Sgt. John Jenson of the Joplin Police Dept. Investigators say it was one of the worst accidents they have ever seen. The investigation is not expected to be complete until sometime next week. Reported By: Courtney Cullor
