When the New England Patriots face off against the New York Giants in Super Bowl 46, two cancer survivors will take the field on opposing sides.

Giants linebacker Mark Herzlich and Patriots offensive lineman Marcus Cannon may have already won the biggest fight of their lives, having both beat the disease.

Herzlich was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Ewing's sarcoma in 2009, while Cannon's battle was with non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
