A four-state man is facing charges after officials say he threatened sheriff`s deputies and his wife with a bomb. Lawrence County officials say 38-year old Joseph Cady of rural Ash Grove violated a restraining order when he threatened his estranged wife. Officials say when they confronted Cady, he attempted to detonate two homeade bombs. They say one deputy shot the suspect in the arm before he could light the fuse. Cady was treated at a Springfield hospital. He has been charged with "assault of a law enforcement officer" and "armed criminal action." The deputies were not injured.
