Homicide Victim Identified

A four state homicide victim has been identified. Crawford county Sheriff`s deputies identified the body of 52-year old Mary Susan Taylor of Fort Scott. Scott`s body was found in a strip pit on June 29th near Arcadia, Kansas. Taylor had been reported missing from her Fort Scott home on June 20th. Her body had been sent to Topeka for an autopsy. The homicide investigation has turned into a combined effort. The Crawford County Sheriff`s office, along with Fort Scott police Pittsburg police and the kansas bureau of investigations are checking new leads.
