Abuse Plea Entered

A Four State woman charged with abusing her 77-year old mother says she is not guilty. Rena Corp of Joplin is facing charges of elder abuse after officials found Corp`s mother locked inside a room inside the home the two shared. Officials say the 77 year old had been locked inside the room for two days while her daughter attended a Fourth of July celebration in Oklahoma. Corp pleaded not guilty to the charges in a Jasper County courtroom. Her trial has been set for August 15th. Reported By: Robin Rogers
