A four-state college plans to honor those who lost their lives on September 11th. Officials at Missouri Southern state college are planning a dedication ceremony September 11th to dedicate the memorial. Community members who visited ground zero will tell their stories, and a flagpole dedication will then be held. A one hundred foot flagpole with a 20 by 40 foot American flag is being added to the campus during the event. College President, Dr. Julion Leon says, "It will be a tremendous addition to our college, but more importantly a nice tribute." Dr. Leon also says the pole will be placed on the highest point on campus so that it can be seen from a distance. City officials and rescue workers along with war veterans will be honored at the event. Reported By: Sheradee Scott
