Jones and Rather Pre-Trial

Two men charged in connection with a five year old murder investigation appear before an Ottawa County judge.
Twenty Five year old Brandon Jones and 47-year-old Jimmy Rather both of Picher have been charged with first degree murder.
The charges stem from the 1997 deaths of Harmon Fenton and Sarah Palmer.
Police say their bodies were found in a barn in Cherokee County.
The Cherokee County Sheriff`s department recently re-opened the case after obtaining new information, which lead to their arrest.
Jones and Rather will begin their preliminary hearing October 7th.
