KSN FIRE

Fire knocks your Hometown station off the air...Fire broke out at the KSN TV studios during the noon news Wednesday. Station personnel were evacuated after flames were spotted coming from the roof of the building. The flames were directly over portions of the newsroom and transmitter room. Thanks to the watchful eye of a passing neighbor, the damage was limited mostly to the roof. Fire units from Carl Junction and the Joplin Fire Department responded to the blaze. Units remained on the scene for several hours. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation. We would like to thank all of the fire responders who helped save our building. We`d also like to thank the Jasper County chapter of the American Red Cross for their assistance, and of course your patience while we were off the air today.
