Residents in one four state town are concerned about their water supply.
Ft. Scott, Kansas is now under a warning cautioning citizens about their water usage.
City officials say about 30 percent of water in Ft. Scott comes from Lake Ft. Scott, which is currently down over two feet.
That`s why citizens are being asked to conserve water.
City Manager Richard Nienstedt said, "What we`re trying to do is to ensure that if we don`t have any significant rainFfall in the next several months, that we`re stretching out the water supply. It`s always serious when you don`t have the rainfall that you`re used to."
Authorities say citizens have been very cooperative during this time of water shortage.
