Medflight 10th Anniversary

A four state hospital celebrates a decade of service in the air. St. John`s Regional Medical Center held a ceremony today to commemorate the milestone. A crowd gathered this morning to cut a red ribbon signifying the start of ten more years of Medflight. Long-time pilots and doctors remembered some of their flying experiences. Dave Fails, a pilot who has been with Medflight since it started said, "I remember to the day, my first flight and afterwards I thought what have i got myself into?" The aircraft and medical staff has over 120 years of combined critical care service. They have transported over 4,800 patients accident free over the years. Reported By: Sheradee Scott
