Jasper County Clerk Race

Updated: January 7, 2009
The upcoming November general elections are quickly approaching, and one four state race is heating up. Jasper County Coroner Ron Mosbaugh and incumbent Jasper County Clerk Bonnie Earl both say they are excited about the upcoming race. They say it`s important to continue to run a clean campaign as election day draws closer. Both credit their staffs as a key factor in the race. "I learned a long time ago that you`re only as good as the staff working for you. I`ve been in management most of my life, the military, and civilian life," said Mosbaugh. "It`s been a very busy time, and a very exciting time, meeting all the people and going to the parades, all the activities involved in campaigning. I`m looking forward to next Tuesday,"said Earl. As you may remember, Bonnie Earl was appointed to Jasper County Clerk earlier this year when Jim Lobby passed away. Earl says she feels she is the best qualified because of her previous experience. Mosbaugh says if elected, he is looking forward to continue working with the people of Jasper County.
