New Year`s Resolutions

New Year`s Resolutions. They`re something a lot of us make this time of year, but can we keep them? Making your goals specific and setting short term goals to reach along the way will help you to reach the ultimate goal. Some goals still get left at the wayside though. Experts say that`s mainly because the majority of people don`t put enough thought into their new year`s resolutions to worry about keeping them. St. John`s psychologist, Greg Koehler, Ph.D. says, "Start off brainstorming a list of different things they may want to achieve that year is a good idea. Then narrow that list down over a period of time to kind of settle on maybe 1 or 2 specific goals that they know they can reach." It`s also important to reward yourself when you reach your short term goals. Reported by: Jennifer Grannan
