Area businesses are gathering under one roof at the John Q Hammons trade center.
They are gearing up for the 11th annual Business Expo. John Hipple is busy putting out business cards at his booth at the business expo. He`s hoping to pick up a few new clients for his Sign Designs business. "This is one of our biggest events of the year. Particularly the Tuesday session which is businesses to busing cause we do a lot of work for the businesses in town,"said Hipple.
More than 150 businesses are here at the expo this year. They`re all trying to put out their latest and greatest products. hopefully to grab your attention and keep it for the rest of the year. "We do have a waiting list. Expo is sold out for the last several years. We had over 25 business on a waiting till a couple months ago,"said Bruce Anderson, Expo President. And business who do make the cut say they see the positive affects many months later.
"I believe the major reason people would like to come out to the expo is because they can come to one location see a variety of products and services that`s offered by businesses and services that`s offered by businesses in the four state area rather than going to each individual business,"said Anderson. The expo will be held at the John Q Hammons center on Wednesday from 10am until 7pm. The cost for entry is four dollars.
