Updated: January 7, 2009
A investigative report into a four state Sheriff`s Department is delivered. The probe into the Jasper County Sheriff`s Department involves donations for the salvation army. The money was collected by law enforcement officials working at the Route 66 Music Festival. There is some confusion over whether the money was ever reported missing. According to Sheriff Ron Doerge the report is a public matter, but it`s up to Jasper County Sheriff Bill Pierce to release it. "The conclusion will be in other people`s hands. We`re fact gatherers, we go where the facts are and that`s what we did. We took statements and gathered facts and we did not make a conclusion. We turn those facts over to someone else,"said Newton County Sheriff Ron Doerge. Reported By: Jennifer Grannan
