PSU and INS Interviews

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Four State college students are facing road blocks when it comes to continuing their education. Due to national security issues some PSU students must meet with INS officials yearly. Anyone with a non-immigration visa from 20 designated countries must go through the yearly interview. About a month ago many students were being arrrested because they didn`t bring proper documentation to their meeting. While there haven`t been any arrests recently, PSU students have had to go through the stress of the interviews in order to continue their education. "The students usually come in and talk with me ahead of time to make sure they`ve got all their papers straight and i try to comfort them and let them know if you`ve done nothing wrong you have nothing to fear,"said Charles Olcese,PSU Director of International Affairs. bout ten p-s-u international students are meeting with the i-n-s in hopes of staying in the four states to finish their education. coming up tonight at six... one p-s-u students tells us about his experience with the i-n-s. ##########
