Tax Help 101

April 15th will be here sooner than you think, and there is some help preparing your taxes. The Vantage Point inside, the Joplin Northpark Mall, will offer free tax assistance. The program is offered by 35 volunteers and the taxes are filed online. The program has proved to be very popular throughout the years. And people line up hours before the center opens.
"The service we provide, we feel it is a very valuable one. Because if people can`t fill it out themselves they can`t understand the questions. That we can do this for them at no charge,"said Bev Scroogins,The Vantage Point.
If you would like to have your taxes prepared at the Vantage Point the service will begin on Monday and Friday from 9am to 3pm. If you have any questions call 627-0600.
