Nevada, MO- Despite the tough economy, a Missouri hospital is increasing its staff.
Nevada Regional Medical Center is adding new doctors to it's payroll.
And that's partly becuase of the increased demand for gynocologists in the area.
The last OBGYN in Butler left, forcing the hospital to shut down the department.
And even though revenue was down last year, the hospital was able to start a brand new clinic on the east side of town.
More patients have visited the new clinic than expected.
There's also a new rehab center behind the clinic, which offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
