Three people are taken into custody following a search at a four state apartment complex.
The United States Secret Service executed a search warrant this morning in Southeast Kansas.
Officials say at about 7:30 a.m. the United States Secret Service and INS officials were assisted by the Pittsburg Police Department and PSU Police in the execution of a federal search warrant.
A spokeswoman with the Pittsburg Police Department says the search warrant was issued in connection with an on-going credit card fraud investigation.
The scam was allegedly taking place at 1800 South Pine, apartment 2.
Neighbors who witnessed the events this morning say it`s a sight they could barely believe.
David Hunt, an eyewitness, said, "We saw two gentleman with the swat team with automatic weapons walking down the alley toward the apartment with their guns raised in the air, which at that point I was a little bit scared because that`s not something you see in Pittsburg."
Hunt also says after the door was broken down he heard a scuffle next door before the men inside were taken into custody.
Neighbors say there has always been a lot of traffic in and out of the apartment all hours of the day and night.
At this time there have been no charges filed in this case.
The United States Secret Service and INS officials are continuing their invesitgation in Pittsburg.
