Neosho Woman Facing Animal Neglect Charges

Updated: January 7, 2009
A Neosho woman is facing animal neglect charges after 45 dogs are found in her home. The animals were found this week in the trailer home of Rebecca Hull. Investigators say Hull was apparently adopting stray and abandoned dogs from local animal shelters and then putting them up for adoption at her home. Many of the dogs lacked proper food, water and shelter. Prosecutors say the woman`s heart was in the right place, but she was going about finding homes for the animals the wrong way. Many of the dogs have been taken to shelters in Kansas City and Springfield.
